Mac Outlook 2016 - Exchange Sync Issues

Hi,

I've just switched to a Windows Outlook 2013 to Mac Outlook 2016. My problem is, that unlike the Windows Outlook which used to sync seamlessly with my Zimbra Exchange email account, Outlook 2016 needs to be synced manually by pressing the Send / Receive button. I've tried Apple Mail and its ability to sync mails automatically, however, I prefer to use Mac Outlook 2016. Please advise.

Any help will be apprecited.
